Pros & Cons

Pros

Food seems to stick at first but release as it cooks. I use kitchen spray usually but it works fine with butter or olive oil. I add some water to the griddle and add baking soda and let it come to a boil.

Once learnt to season, the griddle works like a charm. It's easy to clean. Ss cleans easy. Shines up every time.

We use this primarily for pancakes, after trying a pfoa free 'ceramic' pan. The skillet cooks better than the non stick and the food has a cleaner taste. This griddle is heavy (a plus) and does not have a non-stick coating.

Cons

Tried doing it on the stove burners. Everything sticks to it, no matter the oil you use and then you have to spend some time scrubbing. I’m trying to figure out what to use to get the discoloration/stain off it.

See the images where daylight can be seen at the edges of the straight edge on the top (cooking surface) of the pan, and daylight under the straigt edge in the middle on the bottom, showing it is bowed on both sides. On my glasstop stove, the pan take...  Read More

This stainless steel could be used as a truck bumper solid riveted construction actually looks sleeker then in the images after two weeks of bacon and eggs and cleaning with steel pads this thing is still shiny and slippery as teflon

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

The handle is solidly attached but about a foot long but i would sawzall it off if that were a discouragement to buying it i hate teflon pans and soft scrubbing sponges that to me never hold up i have been using steel sponge pads to clean my round pans and it cleans easier than teflon this pan is heavy but not near as heavy as an iron skillet

On first use to make a grilled cheese sandwich i used butter on the bread and shredded cheese

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

Some of the cheese fell out of the sandwich causing the bread to stick to the pan when i turned the sandwich over
