Pros

These loaves come out perfectly for slicing. Makes a perfect large loaf. Leaves a beautiful pattern on the crust for a professional look.

Good proofing basket. Yes it has a few stray fibers, but that's normal with this kind of basket. This rectangle basket works like a charm.

Banneton holds up to 1000 g of dough, 5-6c. Ka all-purpose flour and rice flour (per the tartine book) recommended. Semolina, rice or rye flours are recommended. Use rye seems to make the dough easy to remove.

Cons

The surface is rough and full of loose splinters. The rings are loose and you can't touch the * thing without getting a splinter. Sliced my finger on one of them.
