Unfortunately i misunderstood the reset bit in the instructions so please note the power has to be on and you have press the reset but before the output socket becomes live then if the power goes off the trip trips out and the socket remains dead even if the power comes back on

Unfortunately this means i can not use it to protect the slow cooker or bread maker
