Ive used a few of the fisher math skills for my kids and have to say that for the most part they are great particularly if you get the dvdbook combo where there is a short segment to watch and then a page or two to follow with the book

What my one complaint would be is that weve come across several mistakes and when i tried to reach someone through their website i never received a reply

Its unfortunate when your child is learning something and the given answer is incorrect the editing hasnt been thorough enough in checking answers to all the problems

I used prealgebra concepts with companion dvd for a review of prealgebra and would unquestionably have used it as my sons primary text had i discovered this series sooner the other books in this series do not come with a companion dvd

Each page has review exercises which i use as a bell ringer then the lesson then a word problem

For more advanced geometry this may not be enough as it does not go into detail or goes over the more complicated skills in geometry
