    If a knife is in decent shape you can just use the fine side of the stone as this gives a sharp finished edgeresultsonce sharpened the blade was cutting onions with ease and i found i could easily slice very thin slithers of onion tomatoes etc something the blunt blades could just not do

    After a while i was able to filter out a lot and came up with you need to use a whetstone to really get a good sharp edge it takes time to perfect the sharpening approachit isnt as easy as it looks

    First couple of uses didnt really work but that was more to the fact my technique was not good the knives didnt pass the paper test slicing a piece of paper
