This martin is crafted with a solid spruce top and solid sapele back and sides also may explain why the martin is slightly more expensive the taylor has laminate back and sides

The taylor does not have bracing on the back of the guitar nor does it have the wooden lining that connects the back and sidesfrom what ive researched this is done purposely as it gives them the tone theyre after

The taylors headstock always looked a little cheap to me a plastic overlay and the taylor logo very satin and dull

Martin also shipped a gig bag for the djr but its nothing like the gs mini counterpart
