Pros & Cons
Cons
Melted out on 30 amp connectors and burned out my boats receptacle. Received used and abused cord. Lasted 3 months.
Highlights
Quality
A bit pricey but the quality is worth it
Bought 2 of these along with the water proof adapter
Neither of the ends were compatible with the fasteners in use at the dock or boat side so the plug will work loose eventually

Personally if i were the designer of this product i would have used light guide in a rig form factor so that the user can tell from any angle and at least 50 of distance if there is power on the cable

The boat side female led is on the inside so once its plugged in good luck seeing if you have power without unplugging it

The dock side light is subject to orientation issues not all nmea plugs get installed so that the led will be facing outwards

Not so much of an issue at night

Also many docks have protectors that lower over the nmea plugs

Huge design flaw in my opinion

Above and beyond those flaws the only way to make this product better would be to include a voltage readout at the boat end minimum and provide some sort of polarity warning this is typically found on the boats electrical panel but it would be super handy if the user could know that there was a polarity issue at the dock before connecting the boat
