A simple solution to secure the bag and keep the garments from coming out into the was is to draw the bag closed as tightly as possible and then loop the double string into a knot and then place the closure tab next to the knot and because the string is long if desired fold the remaining string in half to shorten and then tie another loopknot behind the tab the handknot keeping the bag closed will not come undone in the wash or dryer and the back up knot will control the string from getting tangled beneath the machine rotatorspinner forthose with a top loading washer

So for the purpose i am using the bags they are performing well and took off a star for the lock clips being essentially useless
