Pros & Cons

Pros

This is probably the best hand-held garlic mincer in the world as the fifty dollar price tag alludes to. If you mince a lot of garlic, this is worth every penny. One for ourselves and also gifted a second one.

It flops open to easily rinse clean. I keep a toothbrush near the sink and using that, it takes me about 5 seconds to have it cleaned after use. Washes up great in the dishwasher.

It has excellent leverage making it easy to use even with a large amount of garlic. It is the finest kitchen tool i own and the price while steep is not prohibitive.

This press is of stainless steel and so far unbreakable.

This garlic press was purchased for my wife -- the gourmet chef in our family. It presses the garlic well. It sort of looks like my other garlic presses, but it works a lot better.

Would be nice if it came with a piece of plastic that could be used to push through the holes for cleaning

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

I was so sick of picking chunks of garlic out of my press

So i looked for alternatives and saw this was rated 1 in some cooking article

You might be asking yourself why anyone would pay almost 50 for a garlic press and the simple answer is that this is literally the best garlic press

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

Back in the early 90s i was into pampered chef for awhile and got my first garlic press

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

It was probably actually made by another company and it still works fine but its sort of small and most of the time my clove of garlic has to be cut in half and then that just makes things stick in the holes

And if i have overfilled it its super hard to squeeze to get any garlic out
