Having just purchased this as a back up blower for my gardening business i was impressed with the build quality.
I use it mostly for leaf blowing but also use it with the vacuum attachment.

Unable to offer an opinion but the recipient seems pleased with the product.
Competitiveness
On tickover it's as powerful as my 36v bosch on full power.
Don't bother with try he suction, it's a faff to fit, but the blower is great.
Bit of a faff to change from blow to vacuum but all petrol ones are.
It's a bit finikey to get the hoover nozel on i'm sure they could have come up with a better way.

As you get to know the mechanics of the machine it will easily start first time everytime.

If you struggle get it working for the first time, keep pushing the fuel tank bubble.

One other important point to remember, according to the comprehensive manual, is never to tilt the machine too much from the horizontal as the engine oil may get drawn into the engine.

The makita is probably the cheapest 4stroke leaf blower out there.

I was expecting it to be a little more refined and vibrate less and it’s quite noisy but not so tinny as a 2stroke but i guess any is going to be the same.
