We also discovered my really dry skin didnt work until i used moisturizer to allow the electricity to connect through me yes through me you hold the ground wire while you touch the items to complete the circuit no sensation to indicate this is happening it is a really small amount of electricity

It was fun to see how many people we could connect and still have the computer respond

One holds the ground wire and one touches the grape then they touch hands and voila we get sounds from the computer

We had to finagle them a bit for the skinny wrists as you need good constant contact between skin and metal on the strap
