The usb-c side is solidly fit and will not slide out, once in. I hope it lasts long! It's available as a separate item, so that's on you, not the seller.

Solid connection, repeatable mating with little effort. With power only its not too bad either, i just reposition the cable and it snaps back in. When connected, there is a nice little green light that shines to show you that it is working.
