Once you have it lined up have the second person hold either their finger or a ruler where the end of the piece will go while the other person moves the piece so they can remove the backing

We really like the fact that these didnt require drilling holes on our cabinets like the other ones but we did have some issues with the first one we tried because the adhesive would come off fairly easy as we were testing them pulling on them after 24 hours of installation as my children do pull on them trying to open the doors

I think that probably it would have helped if the instructions would have included the cleaning step to ensure a good adhesion even though it does say to leave it for 24 hours before its first use
