The magnet is not that strong the adapter dose not fit tightly to the body of the phone galaxy s6the main purpose is for it to stick together and charge

Since i got these i did buy some flat charging wires to use with them and i find that flat charging wires make this magnetic charging system easier to work with than if i used the round stiff wires i normally used up until now

When my phone is sitting on the table now i just grab my charging cable with this attached to it and onehanded i just place it on my phone to make the charging connection

The port plugs adapter has a better magnet big plus for me
