I did deduct one star because i found several times that the locking mechanism needed a nudge to engage for example close the cabinet door firmly so that the vibrationjolt of the closure would engage the lock

As a result of this i realized that i would have to intentionally verify the lock had indeed engaged as expected

This makes it impossible for small fingers to get in between the door and the frame and potentially get pinched if a child then leansfalls against the door
