So far very pleased with the unit
It is easy to use and i am very pleased with the results
I first recorded on a vhs tape in ep mode and was very disappointed at the quality of the recording

The picture quality of the dvd after transfer is quite good

One option that would be nice and i dont even know if it is even available on other machines is to somehow pause the actual dvd during recording and skip some time on prerecorded vhs moments that are not worth keeping

If you are not in front of the recorder it is difficult to get the recorder to do anything

The remote sensor has been placed in the left hand corner of the recorder

If you place the recorder inside a stereo stand the recorder does not receive the commands very well
