While we have kept them in there for the most part it was not an ideal long term solution for our thin stix

I discovered that if i worked with a light touch they did not bleed horribly through and thus i would be able to use them in the entire book

My coloring book is not uber thick pages but while i would use these for adult coloring books i would not use them for bible art journaling at this time
