My 4 star rating reflects the price relative to the thread count.
Packaging/appearance
They felt crisp but not particularly soft, right out of the package.
I took them right out of the dryer too.
Competitiveness
As a fan of old-school muslin and percale, these are tamed a little bit by their manufacturing process to soften the texture just a bit.
The madison park peached percale sheets are very soft.
I’ve never tried percale sheets before, and i’m never going back.
I find them very comfortable, but do expect a higher thread count in this price range.

The short of it is that percale is a fancy term for plain woven cloth of a high thread count.

In order to be considered percale in the us, the cloth must have a thread count of at least 180 threads in one direction per square inch.

They come with a fitted bottom sheet, standard top sheet and two pillow caseswe have washed them twice in that time.
