I purchased this keyboard about a month ago to replace the oem full keyboard that came with a mid-2011 27 imac because the paint has begun to wear off the keys, which was both unsightly and annoying.

So it’s not an apple keyboard with lights, it’s plastic.

I use this keyboard on my 24 mac display and my 2012 mac mini, the only issue i have is the is the company logo on the front of the keyboard, i would have preferred the logo on the back of the keyboard.
