Almost attempted to return it when id thought id give it another shot and managed to push it into the battery slot

Those of you who are buying this because you dell battery died or whatever the factory issues ac will not work

There is a chip inside the plug and vise versa is in the battery too that tells the plug is not the right battery just because its not name brand lame yes i know and it will say it is not charging

Dell which is my case gave me a song and dance about how the battery would not work because it wasnt their name brand round about the tech basically admitted that there is a sensor chip in the ac adapter that tells the pc that you do not have a dell battery and to not charge that battery
