Pros

This is my very first proofing basket. The coils are tidy and even. The metal nails are secure/flush with the basket material.

This is good for one smallish loaf. It gives your loaf support to give it the perfect shape during the proofing process. It also makes your loaves have a better crispier crust.

I love the whisk it comes with and the razor blade! The score is sharp and does a great job. This also has a scorer and it’s much nicer to use than a knife. Plus the cutter works a lot smoother than just a knife!

The liner is made of some kind of really textured, beige-colored woven cloth. Dusting generously with rice flour is a great way to use the bowl without the cloth, which does make a beautiful loaf.

The craftsmanship is impeccable. They seem like they'll hold up well and if priced competitively, they're a fine choice.

Cons

The liner has a strong unpleasant smell like a fermented yogurt or kashk. They make it look so big in the photos but the bowl wouldn’t hold two hamburger buns. Do not buy.
