This is a much higher quality tool than others that i've owned. I like this is only one prong so its not as damaging as the normal 2 prong testers. This gauge makes it all very easy.

It's not worth the hassle to return these, so i guess they'll keep selling them - but maybe not to you. Here is their reply to me:hello mark,because the item was used when you purchased it, there is nothing we can do. Thumbs down.

The only time the prong stayed in a moist position is when the soil was extremely wet. Re-polished the probe and tried a new spot in the same general location, same result. Moisture meter is the only thing that works.
