Connectors are keyed to go in the right way and lock into place. The lift motors are quiet.

All parts come well packaged in two separate boxes that are attached to the frame with flexible wire that is very easy to remove. Heavy and sturdy, with clean welds. I was able to assemble it completely alone.

Cons

Malouf's website has no listing of this bed or any lucid bed. The mattress hangs over the sides of the frame about 2” each side. It's cheap for a reason and i regret making this purchase!

The motors there are two one for the head raiselower and for the foot raiselower come premounted to the frame and already wired

The motor just stopped working in less than 2 12 years right as i was putting the headboard down to sleep
