    Dietrich fisher- dieskau is an excellent singer in german and austrian operas , but he is not a verdi baritone , and he should not takle an italian operas.

    I'm not happy that the macbeth was included here, since the tenor role consists of one scene only and is dominated by a totally miscast dietrich fischer-diskeau (as macbeth) and a vocally disastrous elena souliotis (as lady macbeth) trying to do a maria callas imitation but failing at every turn.
