The side holes do not work for my sink

It is hard to clean out because there is always some food sticking through the hole and you have to clean it out manually

With a standard strainerstopper combination it always seemed as if the ptrap was overwhelmed by the flow of water from the faucet which is directly above the drain

It is a onepiece design there is no seam where the rim and the part with the holes meet which means no crevice to fill with kitchen gunk

It has holes on the diagonal sides so it will still drain even if the bottom has food stuck to it and none of the others have drain holes there
