Pros

This thing is heavy and solid, i keep it in its original box with foam when transporting it. The para di works well and it looks solid. And the battery life is great.

Each of these guitars has it's own personality and needs different tweaks. The members in my band love the new rich sound from my acoustic which before tinny and inaudible.

The sound is very warm and captures the harp sound nicely. Game changer for me. Easy to dial in a pleasing acoustic guitar tone.

This box does a good job of transmitting the sound. The parametric eq on the lr baggs box lets me dial out the harsh tinny sounds that are over emphasized by the pickup. It gives me eq options that the lyric doesn't have.

Cons

This is the 2nd time this unit has crapped out on me in the middle of a gig. It buzzes and cuts out whether i use it with my mandolin or guitar.

My guild f5ce acoustic sounds really good by itself but with the lr baggs it sounds just amazing

I recently used it at an outdoor gig and was very pleased with the sound running through a small mixer and a single powered speaker

I use a headway band pick on my violin in to this straight into the pa and it sound awesome

As such i cannot plug into the pa system which means no phantom power

It will make your sound come alive even if the pa system isnt that great

Competitiveness

Its also stood up to some pretty heavy use and a notso heavyduty transport bag

Costly but well worth the extra cost for so much more value

Runs off a 9v battery or phantom power
