I use this remote on my nikon d3000 and it works great
I have been debating on getting a remote for my nikon d5200 for quite some time but didn’t think they would work that great
So far this remote works with my d5100 as advertised

Easier than trying to set the timer on the camera and then racing to the front of the camera for the photo

Main only issue was that i wish the ir sensor was stronger from distances greater than 10 ft i had issues with the remote responding to the camera

The first thing i wanted to try is if it would actually work and after that how far away it could be from the camera and still activate the shutter
