Its also silent and i suspect the multifan units are not on a business trip where i left this behind i had to go buy one at best buy and they only had a 3fan targus version which was a tad noisy

Probably worth mentioning that i only use this on a desk while the laptop is plugged in another side effect of a 78 year old computer battery life diminished even though im on my third battery because i have to use generic supplier as oem product not available

I am not sure if that is just because the grips on my laptop are not strong enough or if the metal on the cooler is too slippery
