I can't comment on durability because I just now got this chair. But I can comment on assembly and ergonomics and initial feel.Initially at least, overall the chair fells both sturdy and comfortable which is often a hard combination to find.The assembly is about as easy as can be. There are a few push this into that steps and then there are 3 screws for attaching the left arm, 3 screws for attaching the right hard, and 3 screws for attaching the back to the seat. All of the screws use the included allen hex wrench. The only issue is that one of the screws was hard to access, but the trick was to adjust the forward position of the seat (see image) and then that was easy too.In terms of ergonomics, this chair has just about every adjustment imaginable:• Chair adjusts up or down• Seat adjusts forward or back• Arms adjust up or down• Arm pads adjust in or out• Arm pads adjust forward or back• Back adjusts its angle to the seat• Back/seat as a unit adjust their tilt  Read Less
