Pros

Used these to make some oddball displays for a gig. Let me play with steppers that are actually quite effective, without worrying about burning up something costly. Some pro tips.

They are quick and responsive to commands through the driver boards. Github is a great resource for arduino and pic uc source code. There was a resistor color code card. Tested out of the box ready to go.

Cons

Nema 8 don't have the torque needed.
