A 60 watt equivalent needs to put out 800 lumens but these put out 550
I also noticed that at full brightness 5 of these were not as bright as 4 of the other true 60 watt equivalent bulbs
They are perfect for me as i was replacing 40 watt incandescent bulbs anyway but didnt see 40 watt equivalent dimmables with this shape and base nothingjust what i wanted replaced my cfl bulbs with these new led bulbs
These bulbs are great at first i thought they were a bit pricey but once i read how long they last and compared that to the incandescent bulbs we were constantly replacing and the fact that these will last so much longer the cost is minimal
