As others have mentioned mine also came in a sketchy looking box and had dust inside on the fan so it looked like it could have been used or more likely was improperly stored

There was one time that the fan started spinning much faster and it got very loud but im pretty sure it was my motherboard that did something weird

Temps were still around 30ºc so there didnt seem to be a reason to make the fan faster and after restarting the pc it was silent again with the same temps and it never happened again

But it does make me certain that using this cpu cooler with a 4pin connector pwm is a must because with 3pins it would spin at full speeds and it would get too loud

Very sketchy box as it says just lga on it the box i got wasnt the one it showed in the images

Disappointed unit shipping box was damaged with pins protruding out of the box and not written material or manufacturer literature
