Pros & Cons
Pros
Decent cast iron. Rubbing against rear 3/4 hole. Mated to a central machinery 34 radial floor drill press. For hobbyist use for occasional professional milling operations, this table isn't bad.
No visible cracks or obvious flaws from what i can see. Decent hardware for the price ratio. Fantastic results. Needed deburing everywhere, but fantastic results.
The handle on the knobs make it easy to turn quickly. Precise & effortless movement. The difference is enormous as you can clamp each end properly tight. Accurate enough for my proposes.
Highlights
Quality
Quality is about what i expected for this x and y table
I am using a 12 inch t slot set and it works well with the grooves on this table
So short in fact that the nylon on the metric lock nut doesnt come in contact with the bolt and there fore the handle is always loose
You just have to do some fine adjustment to set up clearance in slide with the allen screws
Price
Anything less expensive that ive seen has felt too flimsy and the price goes way up for a better quality table
Shipping
Recommend completely cleaning off the shipping oil and then apply a light amount of grease to all slides
Packaging/appearance
Like others have said it needs to be torn apart and cleaned with wd40 to remove the cosmoline and make it run a bit better
I stole the thrust bearing idea i saw on here and it is the perfect idea for taking out the slack
Competitiveness
But this table is really good for light milling on my industrial powermatic drill press
I would recommend it to anyone but a machinist
Im adding a cheap igaging dro to make positioning on the drill press a little easier but again this isnt a substitute for a pr... Read More

The screws that you turn to move the table are a tad too short on the lower one

I will take the lower handle boss off and trim it down about 116 to get the length the boltscrewto protrude enough to be on the nylock nut

Why i noticed this is because i could not get the lower handle on the table
Posted by a reviewer on Amazon
I had to take it apart and drive the boss thread guide out of the holder as it was jammed on there so hard it would not come off

So as it was straight out of the box there would be no movement of the lower movement with the nut tightened
Posted by a reviewer on Amazon
You need a double nut on this type of set up and there is not enough thread showing for that

The product is not metric as others have stated
