Without this device i wouldnt be able to use the new amazon fire tv on my 4k tv to watch 4k content because my tv does not support hdcp 2

All of these conflicting standards make it hard to get one device to talk to another to display 4k ultra hd

I highly recommend it if you see any message resembling this device cannot display 4k data since it needs hdcp 2
