It provided a firm edge for supporting someone in a seated position whereas the 8 springgel memory did mattress not provide a very substantial support for sitting on the edge

Both amazon and linenspa went out of their way to help with returns on my original order when i accidentally ordered the wrong size mattresses

Both mattresses even the combination spring and gel memory one came in boxes about 13 x 13 x 40 with the mattresses inside compressed into a roll
