Pros

The small 1. Lb lincoln log is a great gift for an autistic grandson. Now, kids want legos and video games. They feel light but i'm also now 6ft 220lbs.

Piece collector's edition village comes in a large tall round tin can. The sets are super. The graphics on the tin are beautiful.

K'nex now owns lincoln logs, so i contacted their customer service department. Good quality wood. The only complaint is the price.

Cons

Missing pieces include 13-3 notched round logs and 2 - 3 notched roof triangles. Text printed on roof pieces, and they printed it upside down. This tells me they're manufacturing this set with worn out tools and not inspecting for in spec dimensions.

Quality of this set is way lower than i expected for >$100. Sent mine back, definitely not worth the hassle. My grandson is upset every time he tries to play.

Very misleading advertising as the village cannot be constructed as a whole. There is a very small notation in the right bottom corner of the back page of the illustrated building manual that says most models can be built one at a time. The picture on... Read More
