Wrist weights as counterbalance the bag they give you requires some medium for weight

I would love to have used this as a overhead hair light too but as you will see in the photos it just doesnt go high enough for standing position and the tripod stand bends from the weight of the light when fully extended

I thought this was going to come with a counterbalance weight bag as shown in the photos but i did not get one in my shipment nor does the boom arm have a hook to hold a counterweight

The other unfortunate thing is that the power cable is so short that theres no way you could use this without an extension cable

But if you are looking for a turnkey solution with an included counterweight for a hair light with a tripod or boom arm that doesnt flex you may want to spend a little more
