Pros
They fit a standard 5/8 light stand stud and the screw holds it firmly. Used with 105 watt 5000k cfl bulbs for video. These sockets work great with the heavy 150w replacement led bulbs.
The switch works well and is in a good position, i like where it is rather than inline on the cord. Plug is 2 prong.
These replace 2 expensive wood and metal sockets i have. They appear durable and should do the job. They tend to last if treated softly.
Cons
It is not sturdy at all. The threads on the socket are very soft plastic. It is made of cheap plastic.
