It doesn't take regular lightbulbs, it takes small decorative candle light type bulbs.

My only problem was the lamp shade was supposed to be white and the one i got was blue.

Now this product doesn't come with it's own light bulbs so you should take note of the light bulbs needed before purchasing.

Not a big fan of needing candelabra bulbs but they are cheap.
