The first tv we received had what appeared to be a manufacturing defect in the projection plane of the tv

I say apparent because there was no damage to the packaging the screen or the back of the tv however when it was turned on the image had fixed vertical and horizontal lines coming out of an area on the right side of the screen which was black and had the appearance of a cracked screen though external screen was not cracked

However it can easily be configured down to work as basically the display for a larger system without too much issue

Lg support assures us all three hdmi ports are hdcp 2

However they assure us it will work with the 4k ultra hd bluray devices coming out this year 2016
