Pros

A filter is activated charcoal in a plastic tube. Replacement for used fridge filter. It's idiot-proof it even has an indicator which way to turn the knob.

Fast & reliable service. Fits just right in my lg.

Cons

While this filter may be inexpensive, it's not worth the low-quality filtration causing a bad taste. After installation, the water taste worse then the one it replaced, it tastes basically the same as unfiltered tap water.

The water coming through this filter was tinted black. Be very careful when purchasing filters now. Spend for genuine.
