Pros
Pleasantly suprised. Picture is lovely, resolution is great, brightness and contrast are awesome.
Big and bright and fair price. Lg is a quality company. Purchased this monitor in 2017 for $199.
Cons
The screen is too big for 1080 resolution. Every time that i try to run games on it, it starts to lag really bad. Would not recommend if planning on using with a mac.
The stand is so flimsy that i would think they have had to replace quite a few of them. It is a cosmetic piece that has no function whatsoever other than cosmetic. My stand is heavy duty so i refuse to modify it.
If you bump the hdmi up or down, it move (hdmi plug and hdmi socket) and screen goes black. It has nothing to do with the hdmi cable, the cable not being firmly plugged in, the entire hdmi socket is loose on the inside of the monitor.
Lg says they have to replace the monitor with a refurbished one. Could be the shipping company or whatever. This stuff was just thrown in the box loose.

Competitiveness
The screen is large enough that i can see everything much closer compared to a 13inch monitor
Something might actually be wrong with it but ive never liked a 5way button unless its a game controller

I do not now if the monitor is defective or if it just because of the graphics on the screen but after i turn it on it will go to black and come back for a good 30 minutes or so
