The app allows you to change the degree of dimming. Every switch or dimmer is 3-way compatible. My first switch has no difficulties controlling and dimming six cree 60w equivalent 2700k led bulbs.

The new generation of lutron loses the ability to retain the last brightness that was used in some circumstances. It's a really expensive dimmer switch that won't work via the app now.

I have to cycle the power at the circuit breaker panel regularly to try to reset the switches.

My original switch’s wiring had a ground wire copper common power black and then a red and a white runner

My lutron dimmers with bulbs that are not even on the compatibility list
