Pros & Cons
Pros
Heavy (80gsm), does not bleed through or feather, is smooth but has just enough tooth ( texture) to draw ink without pressure. Takes many types of pens without bleed-thru. Fountain pen inks react beautifully—even wet inks such as pilot’s iroshizuku li... Read More
The binding and the paper just feels better. The book opens flat so its comfortable to write on.
The versatility of this journal makes it my all-time favorite. Fantastic for bullet journaling. I highly suggest this for anyone that keeps a daily journal.
This compares favorably to moleskine notebooks i have been using for years. Everything about the notebook is a slight upgrade.
Cons
If you plan on not using fountain pen, the item is fine (though still overpriced), but if you are looking for a fountain pen friendly notebook - look elsewhere. Other than this, the notebook is ok.
It’s like they took a screen shot of a smaller version and just enlarged everything (even the “datum/date” at the top of each page is big). Also, the margins are very large. I was disapointed that the dots dont go to the bottom and top edges.

My only gripe is that amazon shipped it without any protective covering just the cellophane wrapping it comes in so the corner of my 40 notebook ended up damaged as shown in the pic

Its nowhere near as toothy as clairefontaine laid paper for example

It is fountainpen friendly in that it rarely feathers but it also doesnt show much sheen or shimmer with specialty inks
