I’ve used spiral bound notebooks and cheaper versions of the same journal in the past for simple list making and planning but for bullet journalers nothing can live up to the real deal

The second criteria bullet journalers look for in a journal is paper quality and paper color

If you want your spreads to pop on paper i would recommend using a relatively small tip pen which is the standard for bullet journaling anyway

The leuchtterm has a creamy white paper color meaning it is white but not printer paper white
