This is the second time i’ve bought this amplifier. As advertised. The end result is beyond my expectations. Absolutely amazed at the quality looks and performance.

Amp is loads better than the sonos it replaces. Works very well, and the sound quality is clean with no distortion.

Very dull and lifeless sound. Lack of detail and clarity. Volume pot has lost contact with the windings.

Very happy with the quality of the product
The sound quality is excellent and i mounted the amplifier on an 11mm osb board
Im not so happy with the quality using the tone controls
With the treble i also ended at 1 oclock

Very good little amp very good price great value

Only complaint is that it comes with a 2amp power supply
Good range of frequencies and gooood volume
Have replaced with a 3amp power supply
The only problem is that loading the app with playlists is tedious and time consuming and it also doesnt support 24bit recordings

Having had a passive subwoofer and two speakers lying around for a while idecided to use them on a tv and computer desktop

Unlike others i didnt find the tone controls muddied the sound didnt find they did much at all

I bought the smaller lepai amp which to be fair only cost a tenner and found that the sound was okay but volume nowhere near what would be expected from 20w rms

So i tried again with their next model up this one which is at 24 quid more than double the price but still cheaper than chips

I dont think that you could really look at this amp as anything other than a bit of fun for playing around with or maybe as part of a multi room media system where it could be used for driving something like inset bathroom speakers when you might just want a bit of chilled out music whilst you lie back and soak

So distortion will happen at higher volumes
