Pros

The base pedestal is really heavy, so if i ever do switch it off the clamp and to the standing base, that should be good to keep it in place when i adjust the arm. I also love that it comes with both a desk-edge clamp and a base for versatility of use...  Read More

Highly recommended. It's definitely the center of attention when you walk into my work space. Good quality for this price range, and does the same thing as my much more expensive old architectural lamp.

Great sturdy adjustable lamp.

Cons

This lamp is a complete ripoff. The clamp for it is so bad i don't even know why they sell it. It looks used and abused. Not happy, gonna see about returning it.

Bottom arm has almost no range of motion. It only tilts down. There were scratches on the tighteners. The on button is on the cord and is hard to reach.

Quality

I'll probably build a new cord with the switch at the housing.

Great quality for the price, as i've found with the lepower lamps that i've purchased.

With that quality it has a very large base which takes up too much of the table.

Very happy with the product in every sense except that the base of it (which has a good weight to it) say lepower printed right on the top.

Overall, though, it's a nice looking, seemingly good quality lamp.

Competitiveness

The design/cost, material are all great and lot better than others (i had 3 of those swing lamps from deff brands).

I have a 40w led installed that provides adequate lighting for your work area.

I put in a 40w bulb and omg it was like looking at the sun.

As for intensity for my electronics soldering work, i've sampled a 50w outdoor halogen (too dim), and a 7w led (ok for work but...  Read More

This is to confirm what you read by others, plus one more nitpick, the switch is on the cord, near the base. Since I am using t...  Read More

The only improvement would be if on off switch was on base.

    The instruction weren't very good.

Pictures & descriptions were very lacking.

I did put a small square of rubber between the top of the clamp attachment and the desk surface though, as the felt that was included felt thin and cheap and not very 'grippy'.

Otherwise it feels like a good sturdy lamp.

No adjustments at the base other than being able to swivel, so that lower part of the arm will be at a permanent angle.

Considering takes me 3 miles to drop to kolhs to return, i choose to drive 1 mile to homedepot with $1.
