This item is very pricey but for a leica it is definitely worth it. It's not cheap, but it has proven it’s worth. Expensive, but worth every penny.

It is solidly built. It is compact. Waterproof design, a slick carrying case, german engineering (made in portugal) are the icing on the cake. Compact, sturdy construction.

The focus knob is firm i suspect due to the water proofing. The focus ring is a little stiff at first, but after some use it loosens up.

Cons

This is hilariously bad engineering because there are two loops - they just aren't long enough for you to install both. Since they are mostly non-functioning, the monocular (while quite good) is all that you are paying for here.
