The switch is wired as a 3-way configuration. It can control 1 item has 1 hot feed and 1 wire to the item you wish to switch. Other brands like leviton operate side ways.
It looks great and solved what appeared to be an impossible problem. Glad to locate. Works as described. Now the kitchen remodel is complete.
Legrand / pass & seymour is, and has been, a quality brand for a long time. High quality item.
