This valve was supposed to be adjustable from 75 to 150 psi. It was factory set at 75 psi. Wouldn't seal completely once after three months.

Adjusted the pressure spring as it said after it was installed then pressurized the system and now it works fine after two weeks of service

If you have a back flow preventer or check valve on the main water entry the problem could be the hot water tank when heating with no water used will cause the pressure to rise
